Hi all and welcome to Thornton Park Adventures! My boyfriend has been bugging me for ages to write a blog. Now that I'll be moving in with him, I figured it was a good topic to cover (and would give me lots of interesting ideas for blog posts). =)
Previously I lived up by the University of Central Florida as I was a student there. I graduated with my M.A. in 2010. And due to a combination of being busy, being lazy, and hating to move, I just ended up staying there. Now I'll be moving in with the love of my life (*cue Disney style music) in an area of Orlando called Thornton Park. It's a great place to be with fun restaurants, bars, you name it! And it's only 1 mile from Lake Eola which is the epicenter of Orlando activity. We've been enjoying exploring different parts and I'm excited to share them all with you!
I'm pretty eclectic and enjoy a wide variety of things. I enjoy crocheting, knitting, cooking/baking, gardening, anything artsy and crafty...pretty much the domestic arts. I like learning new things and working with my hands. I enjoy reading, watching movies, and taking care of others. This blog will be devoted to my life in Thornton Park, so expect a lot of these topics to come up.
